SING HO!

Saturday when it was soooo nice, I decided to transplant some plants from the side of my house. I had planted them there to make it like a secret garden for my sister-in-laws party. It turned out really cute. However, the plants did not do so well after a year of neglect and cold. It was on the North side of the house...so you can just imagine the state of these poor things. Several of them made it and look beautiful.
Anyways, I moved them all one day and then a few days later we decided to use the left over bricks on the side of our house. I guess the builders didn't need them...there were a TON, okay so maybe 1/4 of a ton. So I picked them up one by one and carried them to the back of the house where the newly planted items were. Zack was outside with me "helping".

I had given him a spoon and told him to help me dig for the bricks. So he took his job serious. Rick even asked him to play and he said "NO, daddy, I am helping dig" in this GEEEEZZZZZ daddy voice.

I guess me coming around with bricks caught his attention and he decided he was going to follow me. Next thing I know... I have a shadow. Then the shadow starts to sing:
SING HO, for the life of bear... SING HO... For the Bear.... SING HO for the life of bear. This went on and on and on...and on. He then found a stick he called "the north pole" and used it like a drum major (marching band leader)to direct me while he sang. He went back and forth the entire time singing and waiving the north pole around!!! This went on for over an HOUR!!! I about bang the bricks together over my ears. At first it was sooo cute because he was sooo into it... then it just turned into Chinese water torture.

Okay so story behind the song and north pole. It's from Piglets BIG Adventure. You would have to see it to understand.

I am attaching the ACTUAL lyrics:
Sing ho for the life of a bear
Sing ho for the expedition
Sing ho for the life of a bear
Sing ho for the expedition

It's a fine day for marchin'
There's a tiny little breeze
And when there's honey for the makin'
There's a buzz among the bees

Sing ho for the life of a bear
Sing ho for the expedition
Sing ho for the life of a bear
Sing ho for the expedition

I'm itchin' and scratchin'
And scratchin' and itchin'
To fine the North Pole
Finding the Pole may be the goal
But it's drummin' for funnin' that makes you

Sing ho for the life of a bear
Sing ho for the expedition
Sing ho for the life of a bear
Sing ho for the expedition
[ Sing Ho For The Life Of A Bear
